Employee Spotlight: Debbie Purcell

Debbie_PurcellCelebrating her 35th anniversary with Metropolitan next month, Debbie has called Indiana “home” for many years. She enjoys working as a Customer Service Representative because  she gets the opportunity to work directly with our customers.

The worst part of Metropolitan? The smells emitted by the press. Over the years, Debbie has learned many things including “patience, endurance, and how to be a negotiator.”

In her free time, she loves to refinish old furniture and do crafts. And who can blame her for being entertained by watching her 90 lb dog and her cat play together. As far as food goes, Debbie can’t get enough of the country eatin’ at ‘The Applewood’ down in Tennessee.

A couple pieces of advice she would encourage new employees to listen to – “Listen and learn… Leaders have first learned how to be servants.”
