Now based in Florence, Kentucky, Hennegan was initially established in Cincinnati, Ohio by John and James Hennegan and James
Kelly. Their first large order, and largest order to date, was in 1888 for a local (Cincinnati) brewery, Christian Moerlein. Today, Hennegan boasts 5 sheetfed presses and 3 full-size web presses. Hennegan also has the ability to print three-dimensional images. Some prepress capabilities of Hennegan include: computer-to-plate, digital color proofing, internet soft proofing, and CIP3 press control standard. Their newest prepress service is Hennegan Personal Solutions. This in-house group strives to market a targeted message for a more personalized experience.
The Hennegan Company can print a variety of products ranging from brochures and catalogs, to pieces including inserts, to posters, point of purchase, displays, and other types of signs.
Fun fact: At least one of Hennegan’s 5 sheetfed presses is running at any hour of the day.
